REINCARNATION

17 Jan

Lately I’ve been feeling the weight of an undecided future pressing down on me like an unfurled mosquito net when your way too tired to get up and spread it properly – (i have many such nights where I’m too tired to care!)
I recently told someone i love a lot that i worry that i may not be the type to ever settle down – Predictability does not go with my high heels… I love the fact that business is challenging and you learn a new thing every day but if youre reading this and you want my opinion on a lesson they do not teach in class that they need to? Its that business really isnt that complex- people do business with people they like- but there’s only one way to achieve that – get out and meet these people- and take it from me – your going to want to stay home with a good book and a movie and a blanket ..especially if you woke up at 4am as i do but these sacrifices have to be made
I went out over the weekend and met some awesome people and i may just have my next business venture being mapped out for 2012!
really its just that simple- deals are sealed in the boardroom (because thats where the pens and the lawyers are) but they are made in the bars/gyms/hotels/house parties. now for a woman that can be challenging – but hey if it was easy – I wouldnt be doing it 🙂 And since this blog is also about doing business while looking fashionable – i have pics from Friday nights Bantu Night at Poyke….!
P.s Good job Chris and Kirabo on Bantu night – a concept born and originally executed in London and hopefully we shall export it to Uganda more often! ..
