WEEKEND LOVE!

Saturday afternoon and I am having a pretty marvelous weekend so far –
got up nice and late – watched trash tv; read quarter a book and enjoyed a tasty meal made for me with love! I cut tennis today but i’ll make up for it next Saturday!
While having drinks on Thursday I got to chatting with my date about being a patsy! yeah sometimes you have to be a patsy – Much as in this modern, post soap box era were all taught to look out for number 1; I am slowly coming to the realization that if you want to enjoy the quality of your life – truly focusing on other people and how you can help them every now and again actually alleviates some of the pressure we put on ourselves to achieve success at whatever cost;
I mean what is the point of gaining the world but losing your soul- sure your going to say anyone who says riches are not everything hasn’t discovered Prada, but I beg to quote a cliche ‘people will never remember what you wore but will always remember how you made them feel (please no puns about sex!)- so maybe your going through a rough heartbreak or you aren’t where you thought you’d be right now or perhaps you’re just unsure as to which path you need to follow or why your marriage didn’t work and your wondering ‘what’s the point’ give it up for a second – turn the spotlight and shine it on some one else!
